Ingredients

For the casing: Wheat Flour - 3 cups

Vegetable oil - 1/3 cup

Cumin seeds - 2 tsp

Salt - to taste

Water - as required to knead dough

For the stuffing:

Potato - 2 medium sized

Peas - 1/3 cup

Oil - 2 tsp

Salt - to taste

Method:

  1. Peel, cut and boil the potatoes

  2. To make the casing, add wheat flour, cumin seeds, salt and 1/3 cup oil and mix to form a crumbly mixture. When it begins to hold shape, add a little water to make a pliant dough

  6. Then, add potatoes and mash it

  7. Once the potatoes are coated well in the spice mixture, add chopped coriander leaves, remove from heat and allow the filling to cool
