Chocolate Fudge with Salted Caramel Swirl!

Woohoo! It’s been a year since I started this page and this is the #100thpost #frommykitchentoday 😍

I’m super excited that I was able to sustain my interest in #cooking and it didn’t fizzle out like other lockdown hobbies I pursued 😅

To celebrate, of course I had to make something indulgent! 🙈 These little treats taste delicious as is or you can add them to cookies, brownies, Ice-cream sundaes and what not!

A definite #cheatday worthy recipe, from my Kitchen Today - chocolaty, gooey, and delicious Chocolate Fudge with Salted Caramel! 🤎


Ingredients: Butter - 1/4 cup

Chocolate chips - 1 cup

Cocoa powder - 1/2 cup

Milk powder - 1/2 cup

Sugar - 1/2 cup

Water - 1/4 cup

Salt - 1 tsp

Caramel sauce - 2 Tbsp



Method:

Prep: Line a squarish or rectangular deep dish or baking tray with parchment paper and grease with a little butter

1. In a saucepan, over medium heat, dissolve the sugar in the water

2. Add cubed butter to it and melt

3. Stir in the chocolate chips, cocoa powder and milk powder and stir briskly and continuously to avoid lumps

4. Once well combined and lump-free, quickly transfer to the prepared tray

5. Top with caramel sauce and drizzle some salt over it

6. Refrigerate for 3-5 hours

7. Slice into smaller pierces before serving


Keep refrigerated
