Milk and cookies anyone? Vanilla Butter Cookies with Choco Chip šŸ„›

Milk and cookies, anyone? I simply love this combination! šŸ˜

This recipe is so simple and I almost make it every week, that is, whenever my stock depletes šŸ™ˆ

From my Kitchen Today, Vanilla Butter Cookies with Chocolate Chips! šŸŖ

PS: This recipe makes crunchy cookies, but if you’re the chewy cookie lover, hang tight! I have the best chewy cookie recipe coming soon šŸ”œ






Course: Snacks

Difficulty: šŸŸ©šŸŸ©ā¬œļøā¬œļøā¬œļø

Servings: 24 Biscuits

Noted: These make crunchy chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients:


All purpose flour - 2 cups

Baking powder - 1 tsp

Baking soda - 1/2 tsp

Chocolate chips - 1/2 cup (preferably refrigerated for a few hours)

Salt- a pinch

Sugar - 4 tbsp

Unsalted Butter - 1/2 cup

Vanilla extract - 2 tsp



Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325F

  2. Mix the butter, sugar and vanilla extract together until it’s silky and soft

  3. Fold in the flour, salt and sugar

  4. Add in the chocolate chips. Use refrigerated chocolate chips so that it holds shape and doesn’t melt too soon

  5. Mix the cookie dough well till it’s crumbly- do not knead it

  6. Bring the dough together and roll it using a rolling pin on a flat surface making sure it’s 1/2 inch thick

  7. Using a cookie cutter, cut the cookie dough and place the cut cookies on a baking tray

  8. Bake for 18-20 mins

  9. Once the timer goes off, leave it in the oven until it cools down completely

  10. Enjoy the cookies with a glass of milk šŸ„›
